Study BTEC National Extended Diploma Level 3 with Brighter Futures at Jelli Studios Theatre Arts College.

Our BTEC National Extended Diploma Level 3 course is made up of two parts, Government-funded study programme and Jelli Studios Optional Enhanced Vocational Enrichment Programme:

Part 1:

Through our partnership with Brighter Futures, students can achieve a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts Practice (Musical Theatre) (15-18 hours weekly)

Part 2:

Enhanced Vocational Enrichment Programme (10 – 15 hours weekly)

These additional hours and associated fees are not linked to Brighter Futures or required for the academic qualification.

Enrichment Programme consists of an additional 10–15 studio hours per week which runs alongside the funded curriculum

The programme reflects our commitment to providing students with experiences that support the transition from education into the professional performing arts industry.

Depending on the opportunities available each academic year, enrichment activities may include:

            ●          Industry conventions.

            ●          Professional masterclasses.

            ●          Guest practitioners.

            ●          Audition workshops.

            ●          Additional productions.

            ●          Industry networking.

            ●          Professional rehearsals.

            ●          Performance opportunities.

            ●          Careers guidance.

            ●          Skills development beyond qualification requirements.

These opportunities are intended to broaden students’ experience and enhance professional readiness rather than contribute towards achievement of the funded qualification.

Participation remains entirely voluntary.

 

Performing Arts Practice is a 2 Year Course Equivalent to; 3 A Levels A-C 96-168 UCAS Points.

 

This practical programme gives you the opportunity to study both practical and theoretical elements of performing arts, mirroring the working world.

 

You will attend college four days a week and complete intensive training and workshops, developing your dance technique, acting, singing and performance skills.

 

This is exclusive of additional rehearsals and performances that you may be given to opportunity to participate in.
